Modern Language Institute & Tutoring Services Ltd was established on February 18, 2011 to meet the language needs of students, organizations and the general population of the Cayman Islands. The Director, Lisa de Mercado- Crisp came up with the idea to open an institute where she would start a revolution against monolingualism....and many have caught on!
In collaboration with her brother, Mark de Mercado, husband, Graham Crisp, and the support of the Agar family, the institute is open and welcomes you on your journey to speak a foreign language!
Lisa has been teaching for the past fifteen years. She has taught at every level of the education system; preschool, primary, secondary and college level! She is an adjunt Instructor at the International College of the Cayman Islands and has served as Head of Spanish at St.Ignatius Catholic School for the past seven years. Our other team members are native language teachers who are dedicated to your achievement and satisfaction.
